Dr Tinku Kooner obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and completed his specialist radiology training at Concord Hospital, Sydney, with subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology. A qualified specialist since 1999, Dr Kooner is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and has extensive experience across both public and private practice. 

Prior to moving into private practice, Dr Kooner served as a Senior Staff Specialist at Nepean Hospital and a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney. He has a special interest in Interventional Procedures and Pain Management, including image-guided steroid injections, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, and Cardiac CT Imaging. He is also an active member of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG). 

Dr Kooner has completed advanced training in CT Colonography and Cardiac CT Angiography, achieving Level 2 Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) Accreditation – the highest level available in Australia. In addition to his clinical work, he is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney Medical School and a Visiting Medical Officer at the Westmead Hospital Dental School.

Dr John O’Rourke obtained his medical degree at Sydney University and completed his specialist radiology training at St Vincent’s and Westmead Hospitals in Sydney, before undertaking an advanced Fellowship in Body Imaging and MRI at St Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr O’Rourke has worked across both St Vincent’s General and Private Hospitals and previously served as Clinical Director of the Westmead practice of a major corporate radiology group.

Dr O’Rourke developed a subspecialty focus in Cardiac Imaging completing a further Cardiac Imaging mini fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital under Dr Richard Slaughter. In 2011, with recognised expertise in CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA Level B) and Cardiac MRI, Dr O’Rourke alongside tertiary local, interstate and international cardiologists, co-founded Heartscan Institute: a dedicated facility focused on training local and international specialists in advanced coronary artery CT imaging.

In 2012, Dr. O’Rourke established Medscan Merrylands and Heartscan Australia. With an absolute commitment to state-of-the-art imaging equipment and to superior subspecialised reporting, both Medscan and Heartscan quickly became established as the preferred providers of high-level cardiac imaging including CTCA, echocardiography, and cardiac MRI imaging, by reputation, becoming one of the two largest providers of CTCA and cardiac MRI in Australia. In 2016, Dr James Black joined Medscan and three more practices were added in Double Bay, Barangaroo and CBD.

Dr Mansoor Parker FRANZCR is Founding Partner and Chair of the Doctor Management Committee (DMC). He obtained his medical degree from the University of Tasmania and completed his specialist radiology training at Nepean Hospital.  With recognised expertise in Interventional Radiology and Pain Management, along with Musculoskeletal, Cardiac, and Abdominal Imaging. He is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG), and the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA). 

He has completed advanced training in Cardiac CT and CT Colonography, including Level B Cardiac CT accreditation and Level 2 Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) accreditation in Cardiac CT Angiography (CTCA). 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Parker serves on the Board of Directors for Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association (ADIA) and is a committee member of the Medical Imaging Accreditation Scheme Advisory Committee (MIASAC), part of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. 

Dr James Black obtained his medical degree in Western Australia and completed his residency at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney before undertaking specialist radiology training in Western Australia. He subsequently completed advanced fellowships in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, followed by Advanced Body and Oncological Imaging at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. 

Dr Black has broad experience across both public and private practice, including consultant radiologist roles at Royal Perth Hospital, where he was actively involved in multidisciplinary meetings for colorectal, breast, and lung malignancies. He has a subspecialty focus in oncological and body imaging, with expertise in CT tumour staging and body MRI, particularly in prostate and rectal cancer staging and gynaecological malignancy imaging. 

In addition to his diagnostic expertise, Dr Black has significant experience in body and spinal intervention and ultrasound-guided pain management procedures. He is recognised for his collaborative approach to patient care and works closely with referring specialists across oncology, gastroenterology, urology, and women’s health to support comprehensive treatment planning and outcomes. 

Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiah obtained his MBBS degree from Mysore Medical College, India in 2004 and completed his MD in Radiology at Bangalore Medical College in 2008. Dr Kundum Ramaiah subsequently worked across India and Abu Dhabi, including appointments at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi as Senior Resident and at Al Rahba Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital, as a Specialist Radiologist. 

Dr Kundum Ramaiah is a general radiologist with special interests in abdominal and thoracic imaging, as well as MRI, including oncological and trauma imaging. He also has expertise in musculoskeletal radiology and image-guided procedures, with a strong focus on delivering accurate, clinically relevant imaging to support multidisciplinary patient care. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Kundum Ramaiah has a strong academic background with publications in several peer-reviewed journals. He is also involved in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists’ International Medical Graduate (IMG) assessment process as a trained assessor. 

Dr Ankur Srivastava completed his specialist radiology training at Liverpool Hospital before undertaking fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Western Ontario affiliated St Joseph’s Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada. He has extensive experience across both diagnostic and interventional radiology, with a strong subspecialty focus in musculoskeletal imaging. 

Dr Srivastava has particular interests in sports medicine, orthopaedic oncology, and joint replacement imaging. He has also been involved in research relating to rheumatological disorders, including inflammatory arthritis, contributing to his broad expertise in complex musculoskeletal conditions and multidisciplinary patient management. 

In addition to his musculoskeletal expertise, Dr Srivastava has extensive experience in body radiology, breast imaging, and interventional radiology, including spinal and musculoskeletal injections. He is recognised for his collaborative approach to care and his commitment to delivering high-quality, clinically focused imaging and image-guided procedures. 

Dr Farhana Younis obtained her MBBS in Pakistan, and specialised in Radiology. Dr Younis worked as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Child Health and Children’s Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. After obtaining FRCR and FRANZCR, she moved to Australia and has been working as a consultant radiologist for the past 10 years.

Dr Younis is a general radiologist with special interests in Paediatric Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Musculoskeletal Imaging. She also has experience in image-guided procedures and is recognised for her thorough, patient-focused approach to diagnostic imaging and multidisciplinary care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Younis has a strong academic background and a keen interest in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and radiology trainees. For example, she conducts mock exams for RANZCR college trainees. Additionally she works as an IMG assessor for RANZCR, and a supervisor for IMG training at Quantum Radiology. She has a strong research background, and is a journal reviewer for the journal of Bahria University Medical and Dental College. She is committed to ongoing education, high-quality imaging standards, and collaborative patient care across a broad range of clinical specialties.
